Justin Mason is the owner of Mason Transport Company. He is responsible for the strategic guidance and oversight of the company’s day to day operations. Justin’s vision is for Mason Transport to develop and grow into a full service logistics company that will soon be a well-known name in the trucking industry.
Before starting Mason Transport Company, Justin served 11 years active duty as an F/A-18 pilot in the US Navy. He has over 2,500 tactical jet hours, 200 aircraft carrier landings, and has flown over 30 missions supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom. Justin continues to serve as a T-45C Goshawk instructor pilot in the reserves. After his military commitment, he was one of seven highly qualified applicants selected from a nationwide pool to work as an intern in New York City for Bank of America. He accepted a job in Dallas at Bank of America in the commercial real estate department. After a year at Bank of America, he left to pursue entrepreneurial opportunities with Mason Transport Company.
Justin earned a bachelor of science in Economics from the United States Naval Academy and an MBA from the University of Texas, McCombs School of Business.
Ron Mason is a Strategy Consultant for Mason Transport Company. He is responsible for advising on growth, management, and business development.
Ron has been in the transportation world most of his career. Starting with Walker Truck Contractors, Knoxville, Tennessee in 1974 where he was responsible for managing drivers, logistics, and maintenance for a 125 truck fleet. Later he worked for Ruan Transportation beginning in 1988 to develop new business in Dedicated Transport Sales. In 1996, he worked as a General Manager for Coastal Carolina Freightliner to manage and develop the new dealership. After four years at the Freightliner in North Carolina, he started Mason Transport Company and has worked since that time in the freight transportation business.
Ron graduated from West Point High School in West Point, Georgia and is a graduate from Carson-Newman College in Jefferson City, Tennessee with a Bachelor of Science Degree majoring in Accounting/Business Administration.
Ken Brigham is the Operations Manager for Mason Transport Company. He is responsible for the oversight of Federal Regulations, safety, compliance, driver relations, and the company’s day to day operations.
Ken was honorably discharged as a Combat Arms Training and Maintenance Specialists (Weapons Instructor) from the US Air Force prior to his 29½ year journey as an independent commercial truck driver. Ken started at Mason Transport Company as a leased contractor in April of 2020. After 6 months at Mason Transport Company, Ken was selected by Justin to retire from his 18-wheeler and take on the demanding role he enjoys today.
Ken works from his Ohio office where he strives to see that Mason Transport Company’s fleet is managed properly and exhibits professionalism, dedication to safety, reliability, and customer service.
Adam Clark is the Logistics Manager at Mason Transport Company. He oversees load booking, contract negotiations for dedicated lanes, direct cooperation with shippers, dispatch, and client satisfaction.
Adam has worked for several logistics and transportation companies in many different fields over the years. He has been a track and trace specialist, broker, dispatcher, and a booking representative. In 2017, he became an Operations manager at Nationwide Freight. In this position, Adam managed several dispatchers and booking representatives as well as a 24-7 updates team. Adam was responsible for hiring, training, and consistently improving the company brand and reputation. He took on his new role with Mason Transport in 2021.
Adam earned an associate degree from Triton College in River Grove, IL.
Mike Paul is a dispatcher for Mason Transport Company. He has been with Mason Transport since 2015 and his responsibilities include truck dispatch, business development, and customer relations.
Mike Paul has over 25 years of experience in the trucking industry. He started in supply management in the 70’s as an inventory specialist at a tool warehouse. In 1983, Mike joined the US Army where he worked as a light wheel truck and power generation mechanic. After an honorable discharge, he joined Mac’s Aluminum Products of Oklahoma as an over the road driver. Mike diversified his work by starting a home remodeling company in 1989 where he was able to turn his hobby and passion into a business. He has also worked for Direct Transit, the largest privately held truck company in the US with over 1900 trucks, and Heyl Truck Lines where he worked as a driver manager. From 2000 – 2015 he worked as an independent broker agent before joining Mason Transport.
Mike earned an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration from St Louis College at Florissant in 1981 and is a 1992 graduate of Teikyo Westmar University with a BA degree in International Business Management.
